PrimeNet, Inc. was founded in 1991 for the sole purpose of developing a provider network to defray health care costs for self-insured clients in traditional, indemnity health care plans.

Since that beginning, PrimeNet, Inc. has expanded its network products beyond the original network to three healthcare networks, a workers' compensation provider network and Pharmacy Benefit Management services with a direct contracted national pharmacy network. In addition, PrimeNet, Inc. has developed a discount program for non-covered health related items used by active cardholders enrolled in any of these networks.

PrimeNet, Inc. has also established relationships with regional and national provider networks to meet the needs of clients with locations outside of our immediate service area.

As we continue to develop and maintain a "family of networks" to meet the needs of self-insured clients, the philosophy we were founded on still holds true... "It is possible to manage healthcare costs without rationing healthcare".
